Dominican Republic is an island located in the Carribean near Cuba.. etc. In this place, we stayed in Punta Cana Beach Resort. It was located at the southeastern tip of the island in the Atlantic Ocean side. Most of the places here are all inclusive resorts so the experience we had are mostly catered to northamerican clients...I did not really get to experience their culture first hand the way I did in my previous travel. The only thing i can say is that we had the best time here during our stay.

The facilities were beautiful, the people were so friendly, the food was great, and the activities were non stop. It is a place where I don't mind visiting again in the near future. The only thing was, I gained 20 lbs on my stay here from eating non stop, a totally exhilarating experience.


Here is a picture of Tony trying to learn windsurfing (it was HARD!!). The only place we have actually been aside from here was at Higuey. Higuey is a city an hour from Punta Cana which is where the main bus terminal is located (I must say, there is only one lane in the whole area but you must drive on your own risk because it does not stop the locals from speeding!). There, you will find buses going to Santo Domingo on the south (the capital city, and where the carribean sea is..pity we were not able to go there) and Puerto Plata in the North.
