In 3030 the unit put itself under the charge of Wolf's Dragoons, allowing themselves to serve, fight and earn money for the Dragoons, who at the time were trying to recover from the devestation they had suffered. When the Dragoons reopened Outreach, they were extremely thankful to the small unit that had aided them and, in addition to concessions, helped build the unit up to a full regiment in size.
The unit gained its first independent company in the wake of the War of 3039 when Marianne Wallace started the Remembered. In 3048 the unit was ready to expand again, founding its new 2nd Regiment. Sadly that regiment suffered greatly when it found itself in the path of the first wave of the Clan invasion. Scarcly a battalion was able to rise off planet and return to Outreach. The 1st Regiment aquitted itself well in the second wave of the Invasion, working for the Dragoons a second time during the battle of Luthien. Fearing that the Clans might call in their reserve forces for the attack (something allowed under the bidding process should concessions be offered) he reqested the 1st Regiment hide out in the asteriod belt, playing a game of cat and mouse with the forces that had remained on the Clan ships. It proved so successful that when said forces were most needed they were far from their ships, chasing ghosts. This engagement also resulted in the capture of several Clan warriors, most beneficial being a Nova Cat warrior named Valek, a skilled warrior who as of 3059 became a member of the Command Lance under General Jenius.
The 2nd Regiment completed its rebuild to full strength in 3056 and with an exceptional amount of training is nearly as skilled as its parent unit. 3059 brought the 2nd Independent unit to the Dragon's Teeth. Major Douglas Kelly, formly of the New Storm Manufacturing and Wolf's Dragoons joined the unit and founded the 2nd Independent Cluster, a unit composed entirely of Clan and Inner Sphere omni-mechs working in a formation of a Clan Cluster.
3067 brought about the founding of the 3rd regiment for the Dragon's Teeth. However this regiment was not a mech regiment as the other too but was entirely composed of aerospace fighters with a command unit made up of assault dropships.
