Due in part to bad feelings retained from the 4th Succession War and more recently the war of '39 the 1st Regiment only fields 2 mechs directly purchased from the Draconis Combine. Oddly there is no problem apparent with purchasing Kuritan design mechs through Star League contacts. Likewise 95% of Capellan design mechs have been purchased after their 2nd civil war in an attempt to boost their economy.
