Some interesting facts:

Those of the Caste of musicians, like many Goreans are superstitious and do not use the written word muchly. Due to this the musician often passes down songs from generation to generation. The idea in this is that if a song isnt worth remembering, it's not worth passing along.





czehar: musical instrument consisting of a flat, oblong box,having 8 strings which are played with a horn pick; similar to a Japanese koto

cymbols, finger: tiny cymbols worn on the fingers, often worn by dancers; similar to earth types

flute: similar to earth flutes, sometimes incorporated into a slave's dance

kalika: musical instrument having a long neck and hemispheric soundbox, its 6 strings being plucked; similar to a banjo

kaska: a small hand drum

notched stick: played by rubbing the surface with a polished tem-wood stick

tabor: a small drum

tambourine: dried gourds filled with seeds, bells strung to bits of leather.. etc.

zills: little brass finger cymbols, worn on the thumb and middle finger of either the musician or the dancer
