In Loving Memory of Julie

God looked down over the country landscape
and picked the most beautiful wildflower
on the horizon for his heavenly bouquet Our Julie

Julie Elayne Jackson Richardson "Jules"

Julie was born Feb 8, 1970 in Brady, Texas. She attended
school in Sonora, Tx until her junior year
where she was an honor student, cheerleader, and
played basketball. She graduated in 1988 from Menard High School, Menard, TX. She attended nursing school at Texas
State Technical College in Sweetwater, TX, and
graduated in 1992. She married Glen Richardson on Aug
28, 1993, in Ballinger, TX. She was employed as an LVN
at Regency House Nursing Home in San Angelo, TX and
was also a member of the First Baptist Church of
Sonora.
Her beautiful smile lighted any room she
entered. Her spirit and love of life brought sunshine
to everyone, especially her family and nursing home
patients.
Her greatest accomplishment was her six-year-old son, Brady.
Julie left this earth on December 18, 2001 at 7:30 PM near San Angelo, TX in a horrible head-on collision in her beloved red Jeep Cherokee.

Julie is loved and missed by her family and hundreds of friends as evidenced by the standing-room-only space in the church at her funeral service. Missing her most are her husband and son, Glen and Brady Richardson; mother Jeanne Jackson, father and stepmother, Jerry and Martha Jackson; inlaws Glendle and Judy Richardson, sister Bonnie Alford and husband David and their children Kelan and Ashley, brother Jerry D. Jackson, Jr., stepbrother Vance Roberts and wife Stephanie and their children Stacey, Tyler and Chase. Also Julie's grandparents Irene Brunson, John Brunson, and Leroy and Naomi Barina.
Other survivors include aunts Linda Hearn and Sandra Armstrong and uncles Mark Brunson, Robert Brunson, Carlton Barina, Sherrill Barina, and Emmitt Barina and their families.

The Mention of Her Name
"The mention of my child's name
May bring tears to my eyes,
But it never fails to bring
Music to my ears.
If you are really my friend,
Let me hear the beautiful music of her name.
It soothes my broken heart
And sings to my soul."
