Dear Sweet Julie
Today is your 32nd birthday and you've been gone from our sight for 52 days. What a bittersweet day it was for your family. If only it could have been spent your favorite way--"eating some of mom's cooking with a homemade strawberry cake", but we did the best we could for Brady. In your memory, Glen and I took him and a big bouquet of brightly colored balloons to the cemetery. We attached cards with Brady's name and address to the ribbons and asked if anyone finding a balloon would please send him a card or note. He let them go up to the skies one by one behind your resting place with the sunset and prickly pear in the background. He watched as each one disappeared from sight. He enjoyed that and it did our hearts and souls good too. I hope it can be an annual tradition for him. You had so many happy birthdays as shown in these pictures. Birthdays were always special at our house and you loved all of the fanfare. I loved making your birthday cakes and you can see that my cake decorating skills improved as the years went by!

Know that we all love and miss our birthday girl with all of our love forever.
Mom
