Hair: Long, black Eyes: Dark brown Skin: tan Distinctive Marks: large scar on her back. Clothing: typical Ranger garb - dark, leather armor, surcoat, dark cloack, and leather boots. Weapons: double scimitars, short bow, mace, spears, staffs, throwing daggers. Special Abilities: a sort of psychic ability. Animals/Steeds: Oden, black stallion; Rain, black crow. Personality: Though often a loner, she gains and inspires loyalty among any company she commands. Calm and generous, she rarely shows anger. In battle, she is both passionate and calculating. An intelligent strategist. Interests: weaponry, horses, drinking ale, weaving, singing. Family: Father was Elwere, a Gondorian Captain. Mother was Marawen, of the Easterling Tainted Sun Clan. Both deceased. History: Lynx is the last of an ancient line of Eaterling mystics on her mother's side. Her father was a Gondorian soldier traveling in the East. Shortly after being born in the Capitol of city Kehlain, her father moved the fmaily to his home in Minas Tirith. He died at the Battle of Pelenor Fields, and her mother died eerily of unknown causes when Lynx was a small child. Lynx was also at the Battle of Pelenor Fields with her father as a lass of 13 summers. She was a part of the Youth Auxilary among Gondor's soldiers. There, she met Adamon, who was also in the Auxilary. She saved young Adamon's life by pushing him out of harm's way as an Easterling attacked him. She bears a large diagonal scar on her back from this heroic action. The Easterling's sword slashed slashed in such an arc that Adamon recieved a long scar on the side of his face and Lynx recieved a diagonal slash through her armor. Since then, Adamon and Lynx have been loyal comrads, bearing a close relationship akin to siblings. Lynx served in Gondor's Youth Ranger Brigade for a few years, fighting in various battles and journeying to far places. During this time, she met the Elven Lady Naira of Lorien, and the healer-warrior, Malakaf. She then left Minas Tirith to find further adventure, and joined a mercenary company called The Three Swords in Far Harad. Led by a formidable woman named Kuna, Lynx became fast friends with the leader and quickly rose in the ranks. She left the Company after five years, being homesick for Minas Tirith. King Elessar gladly recieved her back in the Gondorian army, where she then served as a Ranger Captain. Lynx is very loyal to King Elessar and Queen Arwen, who have always been kind to her. She is fiercely protective of hobbits, and will go to great lengths to protect them, as well as any folk who require aid. |
