Jason James Richter was born on the 29th January 1980 in Medford, Oregon, making him the weirdest sign in zodiac, the Aquarius... (Hey i should know I am one!)

In 1983 being three years old he and his parents (Sandee and Greg) moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. It was there on Waikiki beach that he has learnt how to swim and become interested in and fascinated by the ocean and its surroundings.

In 1989 his family returned to the states and today he lives in Los Angeles.

Jason "got started" when a Japanese producer used him for three adverts aimed at Japanese market, after that U.S. commercials followed...

At the age of twelve he was chosen out of 4000 candidates to play the role of "Jesse" in movie "Free Willy".

Very lucky if you ask me! OK I know you didn't but i told you anyways :P

Before that he appeared in few Californian commercials.When they picked him, he had no idea that he was supposed to work with a three ton Orca, named Keiko.The producers sent Jason down to Mexico three weeks before the shooting started so he and Keiko could get used to one another. Seeing Keiko for the first time, he was a bit scared he admitted. But there was no need to worry, after one week Keiko happily reacted to Jason�s hand signals and the shooting slowly started.

In case you wanted to know Keiko is being rehabilitated to go back to the wild in Iceland, where he is originally from...

*Jason's favourite film is/was �Apocalypse Now�, I must say that I personally think that the film is SiCk BiG TiMe, but hey who am I to judge someone else's taste! If you haven't seen it, don't unless you have eaten already!

* He listens to Jimmy Hendrix and Pink Floyd, that sort of thing, from what I know.. Not my 1st choice,but my dad's.

He used to have a show on YRN (youth radio network station) from September 2000 until like May 2001. And then it all stopped/closed. The show. The YRN.

The show was called "The Richter Scale" and it was from 6-8 pm every weekday, LA time. It was everything from news to comedy, he had many great people as guests and so on ,so on, so on. There is no point of me writing it all when you probably are already not reading... (I am so confident arn't I heheh)
