~Laserhawk~ There is something out there... Mark Hamill and Jason James Richter lead an ntergalactic rebel force in this modern-day sci-fi thriller. 25o million years ago, a carnivorous super species "planted" a crop of humans on an uninhabited planet known as Earth. Now, the alian life form has returned to harvest its yield. With total destruction looming just moments away, a futuristic warrior (JJR) and a prophetic mental patient (Hamil) join forces against the creatures, but with mortal weapons no mathc for the superior alian technology, the duo's only hope for vitory lies in finding a 250 million-year-old spaceship known as Laserhawk. The future of the world depeds on it. That is what it says on the back of my DVD. I am not a sci-fi fan at all, if anything I hate those kind of movies. I was expecting it to be a really bad film when I bought it. Now that I have seen it, I actually think that it is alright. Nothing special but not too bad either. The film is probably very good for sci-fi fans out there and the only reason I dont think too much of it is because I prefere more "relistic" stuff. A lot of action in this film along with some "comedy" if you like me have a sick sense of humour. Heh. . |
