Based on the aword winning novel of the same name and in the spirit of Dawson's Creek and Party of Five, Ricochet River is a coming of age story about three teenagersin search of their place oin the world.
Change comes slowly in the small logging community of Calamous Grove; folks seem to like things just the way they are. So when high school seniors Wade (Jason James Richter) and Lorna (Kate Hudson) befrind a mysterious newcomer, Jesse Howl (Douglas Spain) it caouses quiet a stir among the locals. Fearful of the out-sider the townspeople lash out at Jesse with prejudice and hate. Their friendship and loyalty are tested and they quickly learn thatthe age doesn't always bring wisdom.
