Garden of Victory
"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31
Victory is ours in Christ. But, living the Victorious Life is a daily, hourly, sometimes minute-by-minute walk of faith, trust, and endurance NOT to given up when everything seems hopeless and impossible.
We serve the God of the impossible, therefore the bigger the problem, the bigger the victory when He brings it to pass.
Here are stories of women who faced hardships, broken hearts, difficulties, and though some of them, in the earthly realm may appear not to have a happy ending, they all worked out according to God's perfect plan (see Romans 8:28-29).
What these women all have in common is the fact that no matter how hard the trial, how deep the hurt, how long the dark tunnel they had to walk thru, they all came out victorious. They soar with the eagles, now having learned the secret of seeing things from His perspective. From way up there, our HUGE problems appear tiny.
We have been called to soar with the eagles, not to peck with the chickens, or feast with the buzzards. Never forget that when you feel like you are so low you have to look up to see the curb... you are called by God to soar above the mountain tops where your perspective will completely change.
Some time soon, I'll tell you some of the amazing things I have learned about the eagle - when I was preparing a special teaching for the adult Sunday school class I taught. Then you will understand why it was this magnificent bird God wanted us to imitate. But that will be a bit later...
