Welcome to the Gardens of Hope!

We have a number of "gardeners" here that want to share their particular stories with you. They are stories about life... situations that cross many of our paths. None of us are therapists, just women that have experienced life in a particular way. We invite you to send us emails if you'd like to correspond with the "gardener" (writer) of each story. Either write to the email posted on the general site, or to the one at the bottom of each story (if given). Just refer to the "gardener" by name. Someone will get back to you!!!

Garden of Growth-

We begin life as a babe. Without growth there is no life - so it is in the spiritual realm. Painful though it is, there MUST be growth in every area of our walk. God will do the cutting and the pruning, and slowly we will do the growing area after area.

Garden of Deliverance

Are you surprised to find a mature Christian in despair? If so why? The greatest threat to Satan's kingdom are the recipient of his worst attacks, leaving a saint of God in great need of Deliverance and a restoration of Hope. It could even happen to you - maybe it already is.

Garden of Love

A garden offering respite for moms, sisters, grandmas, aunts - all the women who love a disabled, and/or special NEEDS child, sibling or parent.

Garden of Memories

Memories are the comforting quilts we take out and toss over ourselves when we feel the need to reach out and touch another time - another place - to comfort ourselves in its open loving arms of remembrance...and feel the joy of love.

Garden of Ministry

To minister is to give of oneself to benefit another. Whether as pastor, teacher, parent, friend or even a total stranger - it is ministry that often drains and depletes the minister. You, who are in a place of ministry or married to one who is, this Garden is dedicated to You?

Garden of Miracles-

Too often we say "miracle" when we really mean amazing or awesome. The word is thrown about a bit too much. BUT, there really ARE miracles happening right around you and here are some gardeners to tell you about theirs. As they share their miracles with you, may you be showered with new Hope for your situation.

Garden of Peace-

Peace is something Jesus promised us all in John 14:27 as well as other places. It is a part of the fruit of the spirit, and yet it is a level many Christians never find attainable. Why is that??? Let's see what these peace-filled gardeners have to share.

Garden of Praise

God lives in the praises of His people - His Word tells us so. It makes one wonder WHY there is not a whole lot more praising going on!! Well, around here it is one of our favorite things to do - Praise the Lord! Here are some gardeners who are showering praises heavenward, and sharing Hope with you...

Garden of Prayer

A quiet place to be alone with God. Take a minute to set yourself apart from the hustle and bustle of life and commune with God....

Garden of Prose and Poetry

A turn of phrase, an emotion penned, depths of feelings shared... This is the essence of our Prose and Poetry Garden, and we hope it will be a garden you will enjoy visiting often and contributing to from time to time.

Garden of Safety and Healing

Stories of women who have struggled with physical and verbal abuse and how God brought them through to productive and hope filled lives today.

Garden of Tears

For whatever reason, for however long, God sees and understands every tear you shed... He cares SO much, He actually stores them (see Psa.56:8). No Christian can live on the mountain top all day, every day. When those valley days come, He is every bit the Father and powerful God He is when you're joyfully praising Him.

Garden of Victory-

Defeat can become a way of life for some, but it was never the way our Father intended us to live, but rather above the circumstances. Remember Jesus' words before He left the earth in John 16:33, "... but cheer up, because I have overcome the world!: Victory is our inheritance from Jesus Himself.
