He pulled up to the driveway and I sat there awkwardly undoing the seatbelt then I reached for my purse. He turned off the car, then got out and ran to my side and opened the door.
"Thank ya," I said.
"Very welcome." He grabbed my hand after I got out and closed the car door and lead me to walkway.
"I had a great time," I said as I squeezed his hand slightly. He turned to me then hugged me. Not your everyday type of hug, the kind where it seems like it lasts forever. A good forever.
"I hope we will be doing this again?" Jon asked me nervously.
"I hope so," I smiled.
He leaned over and kissed my cheek, then my lips. I returned the kiss, embracing his soft, smooth skin, with my hand lightly on the side of his face. After a moment, we separated. The moonlight covered his and mine flushed faces.
"See you later," he whispered.
"Later," I said, giving him one last kiss.
I waved goodbye and entered inside the house. I closed the door and did a little gig. I heard Mallie laughing in the background.
"Ah ha! You snooped!" I pointed at her accusingly.
"You did the same thing...except you ran!"
"I know.." I laughed.
"Tell me, tell me! How was the kiss?"
I sighed heavily. "It was to die for."
