| A Kiss to Die For: Chapter Two By: Cam A few weeks past and we were finally getting into the groove of things. College was going pretty well. Being a dance major, most of my days were filled with practices, recitals and what not. Mallie had her fill of psychology classes. I was going through some chorography in the living room when Mallie came through the room humming to herself with the biggest smile on her face. She fell on the couch and gave out a big, long happy sigh. "Why are we so cheery today my dear?" I asked. "You will never, ever ever guess who literally bumped into me!" I laughed. "I have no idea, do tell." "Well..." "Come on! Come on! Tell already!" I persisted. "After work today at the bank, I walked over to that little shop with that great latte of love so much. As I was walking across the street, I accidentally dropped my purse I was rummaging though...spilling pretty much everything." "Tsk, Youre so clumsy." Mallie grunted. "Yeah yeah, anyway, someone bumped into me as I was picking up my stuff and that person was none other than Zin." "Zin?? Colin Quinn??" "Yes! Colin Quinn, he told me he was sorry and helped me gather my things." "Oh how exciting!," I gleed. "But it gets better!" "Better?" "Yes, after when he helped me he told me he was on his way to get something to eat and he wanted me to come along with him. So I did." "Wow, you lucky soul you..." I said with amazement. "It was pretty awesome, we talked for a really long time! We have a lot in common," Mallie said with a smile. "Thats so great! Im very happy for you! Talk about one in a million!" Mallie cleared her throat. "After we finished he asked if I would like to come along with him and a friend to go eat tomorrow. I asked who is friend was and he said Jon Stewart. So, I asked if I could bring a friend along...who would very much like to meet him." I gasped. "No you didnt..." "Yes I did," she smiled. "He told me that would be great. Jons been wanting to meet someone new...if you know what I mean," Mallie said with a wink. I just stood there with my mouth open. "Id thought you would react this way," she said as she got up from the couch. She walked over to me and closed my mouth. "Come on Chrystal, help me with dinner so we can eat something tonight....Im tired of your ramen noodles!" I nodded dumbly still in shock of what Mallie just told me. Jon Stewart? Me? Meeting?? These words dont seem to go together at all. Just crazy I thought to myself with a smile. |
