Learning Beliefs
Teaching, learning and the curriculum is enhanced through technology. When technology is used both students and teachers are motivated. It has been noted in my school that when a teacher has learned new technology and becomes familiar, they then use that same technology to teach their students. When technology is demonstrated, staff then use methods and strategies to enhance a lesson. Demonstrating technology breeds awarness of technology, which support integration of skills.

Artifact I was a webquest created for an NJCU project during the spring semester of 2007, which shows methods and stragies that support integration of research tools. The webquest allows students to manipulate websites to gather information. Students were learning the curriculum, but engaged and using skills that supported use of media-based tools.

Technology facilitation Standard III is futher explained using Artifact II. Artifact II is a digital video, again created for an NJCU project during the spring semester of 2007. The digital video was used to explain how students were to create an iMovie. Making the iMovie students learned how to import graphics, use sound effects, and voice recordings. The iMovie created enhanced the curriculum but also showed students supporting integration of problem-solving and decision making.
