I was planning on writing detailed story descriptions myself, but Dominique Boies at the Doctor Who Reference Guide has offered to let me use her extremely detailed plot information. So you can find links to her pages for each of the stories below. The First Doctor, Ben, and
Polly arrive at a rocket control center located in Antarctica. Soon
a mysterious planet, Mondas, enters the solar system. The planet's inhabitants,
the Cybermen, begin an invasion of the Earth in order to obtain resources
and fresh humans for conversion. The Second Doctor, Ben, Polly,
and Jamie crash land on the moon. They reach the Earth weather control
station located there, only to discover the crew suffering from an unknown
disease. Soon people start to vanish and equipment is sabotaged. The
Doctor must race to find the culprits and cure the mysterious disease.
The Second Doctor, Jamie,
and Victoria materialize on the planet Telos. There they come across
an archeological team investigating the ancient tombs of the Cybermen.
However, the team soon discovers that Cybermen are merely hibernating,
and that the tomb is an elaborate trap. The Second Doctor and Jamie
arrive at The Wheel, a giant space station regulating space trade for
Earth. There they meet Zoe and soon discover Cybermats on board. The
Cybermen have plans to use the space station for an attack on Earth. The Second Doctor, Jamie,
and Zoe arrive in London, where they meet the newly formed U.N.I.T.,
headed by the Brigadier. Electronics tycoon Tobias Vaughan is placing
Cybermen mind control technology in his products, which will render
humans into mindless zombies. The Doctor and U.N.I.T. must stop him
before the Cybermen take control of Earth. The Fourth Doctor, Harry,
and Sarah return to space station Nerva, but at a different time period
from which they left. The station's crew is sick with a mysterious disease
that the Doctor recognizes at the work of the Cybermen. The Cybermen
plan to use the station for their attack on Voga, the planet of gold. The Fifth Doctor, Adric,
Nyssa, and Tegan get mixed up with the murder of several scientists.
It is all part of of plot by the Cybermen to kill the members of a galactic
conference with an antimatter explosion. Sadly, Adric loses his life
in the Doctor's effort to defeat the Cybermen. The Fifth Doctor feels as
if his past lives are slipping away, as his previous incarnations are
pulled into the Death Zone on his home planet of Gallifrey. Only by
going to Rassilon's Tower can he find the cause of his affliction. Of
course the way will be dangerous, as the Death Zone has been stocked
with deadly enemies, including a squad of Cybermen. The Sixth Doctor and Pear
must battle the Cybermen of Telos, who are using a captured time ship
to return to Earth before the events seen in "The Tenth Planet".
The Cybermen plan to crash Haley's Comet into Earth, preventing the
destruction of their original homeworld of Mondas. The Seventh Doctor and Ace
compete with the Cybermen, neo-Nazis, and a women with supernatural
powers for control of the Nemesis statue, an artifact of great power.
The Doctor has a history with the statue, but is elusive about the secrets
of his past.
Part i. The Tenth Doctor,
Rose and Mickey cross the Void to another universe that has an Earth
somewhat similar to our own. There, industrialist John Lumic decides
huminity needs to be improved to version 2.0.
Part II. John Lumic unleashes
his Cybermen on his world. The Doctor, along with an anti-Lumic underground
movement, battle to save humanity from forced conversions.
Part I. Torchwood is attempting
to open an unknown alien device, and their actions have caused "ghosts
to start appearing around the world. Though everyone is excited about
seeing lost loved ones, the Doctor believes something sinister is happening.
Part II. It is all out war
between the Cybermen, the Daleks and humanity. The Doctor must find
a way to save the world. Torchwood must battle a partially
