Jewish Culture Fairs

Program Description:

I reserved the concourse at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Union. We had four tables there, with two of them displaying various Jewish ceremonial objects (seder plates, havdalah sets, etc.), one having various information about Israeli-Arab conflict as well as brochures about Jewish Agency’s Israeli programs, and one having fliers and calendars about other upcoming Hillel programs. As this was in the center of the union, many people stopped by. I also had a similar, and somewhat smaller display at Marquette.

I decided to use the Culture Fairs as an opportunity to have some presence on the smaller campuses where I had not yet been this year. I had a display at two campuses of Milwaukee Area Technical School and a display at Cardinal Stritch University. At Cardinal Stritch I also had a free bagel lunch for students and staff.
