| The White Triangle is a faction of race purists who believe that alien races should not intermingle and saw the United Planets as an abomination. The White Triangle was behind the assassination attempt on RJ Brande, which led to the formation of the Legion. Although the group consisted of thousands of sentients from many different worlds, the most dangerous and deadly of the members came from the world of Daxam, including the UP ambassador Roxxas. The Legionnaire Laurel Gand, had also been raised as a member of the White Triangle, but she was not involved in the illegal or destructive activities of the organization. As the Triangle made their final move to end the UP, a contingent of Daxamites murdered the entire population of the world Trom except for Jan Arrah, who had travelled off-world with RJ Brande. The Daxamites continued their rain of terror, barely noticing the resistance offered by the Legionnaires and their allies until the combined efforts of Brainiac 5, Jan Arrah and Saturn Girl removed them from the fight via a star-gate. Laurel Gand realized the error of her ways and rebelled against Roxxas, defeating him with the assistance of Shrinking Violet. During the battle, a Daxamite murdered the Legionnaire Apparition, but her spirit survived and was merged with another of her Carggite bodies. |
