This website is a tribute to one of the greatest fighter pilots of all time, Maj.Jack M. Ilfrey (USAAF) and the Fighter Groups he flew with. This is a labor of love we have set forth on to right the wrongs of those who have basically overlooked this man's colorful and often dramatic career in the history texts across the world. Jack Ilfrey (and all veterans of the greatest conflict in history) deserves to be remembered for his accomplishments and his generosity to those of us who still care.
