Brass Bed by Josh Gracin
2005 was a huge year for Josh Gracin.  The former American Idol competitor released his self-titled debut in 2004 and did well on the charts with singles I Want To Live and Nothin' To Lose.  But it was in 2005 that Josh Gracin truly caught listeners' ears.  Brass Bed set records all over the Top 25 (As can be noted on the previous page).  Along with it's 27-week record run on the Top 25, it holds a few other records.  It's April 7 debut was the highest chart debut for any song to ever hit the Top 25 at #3.  And in just it's second week on the Top 25, it took over the #1 spot (A feat only matched by the Seether/Amy Lee duet, Broken).  And it would not relinquish for, yes, another chart record, seven straight weeks.  Brass Bed's 27-week run on the chart put the song far above every other track in 2005.  Josh Gracin's Brass Bed is 2005's top song by a landslide, and a well-deserved landslide at that.
