I started out reading LiveJournals that my friends have and was quite hooked on the idea of posting daily events. I started a DeadJournal of my own, but found it difficult to play with the layout. Maybe I'm just a ditz - who knows? Anyway, I just decided to do it all myself, just me and Notepad, to make an online journal that is aesthetically pleasing with (somewhat) meaningful content.
For those not in the know, the anime girlie featured in this
new layout is Maron Kusakabe from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. Such a pretty show. I decided to use this one for a while; I'll bring the gold one back if the demand is there.

it feels so good to be wanted again - mood: ecstacic
I apologize for the disappearing act. I just haven't really had anything worthwhile to write about - the moods and phases would be a waste to record.
However, my life's current events have proven to be the best muse in the entire tenure of my blogging experience.
Failed relationships. Being cheated on. Getting laid off. I dealt with all of these forms of rejection during the same period of time.. but isn't it great to know you've got karma in the bank because of all the shit you've gone through? I knew it wouldn't be long before good things started happening again :) Here's a breakdown of the positive things that have emerged from the aforementioned shit.
Setback #1: Getting laid off.
Out-Of-The-Blue Solution: I was re-hired as a specialist at Linens 'N Things (my first job @ the tender age of 16), which is a position that is a step down from management. Yes! My first supervisory position ever! I feel I can successfully lead people, and this is the perfect opportunity to prove I really can. Now I work with my roommate :D No problems there at all; we're very compatible as co-workers, and as roomies too.
Setback #2: Failed relationships.
Out-Of-The-Blue Solution: My roommate Loree suggested that her boyfriend, Adam (my friend & old co-worker from Staples) should introduce me to his friend... who is also named Adam :) This set-up occured on the 7th, and I'm unbelievably happy! Generally, match-making of this kind never really works out. It always makes me wonder what's the problem with the other person.. why can't they find someone on their own? Lack of people skills? That's not attractive at all! BUT... lucky for me, Adam is very much my type. Passionate about life, has direction, great smile, piercing eyes, and very easy to talk to. He and I really hit it off - tons in common, shared views on current events, even found out that he's a Beatles fan too! It also helps that he's one of the best kissers
ever. I got a good feeling about him when he named my perfume (White Musk) after being around me for 30 seconds.. then he informed me that he absolutely
loves it. I'll be sure to chronicle the first meal I make for him, which I suspect we are both looking forward to :)
YAY! Leigh met someone for him, and now I did. It's about damn time, right, homie? Good things come to those who go through so much shit when they deserve
far better. On that note, I'm off to bed and sweet dreams.
