The original "Convergence of the
Twain"
by Thomas Hardy Maybe we are soul mates
Who grew too close too fast
Living in the present
But seeing through the past
Dreaming of a future
That just may never last
Maybe you're my Aruthur
And I your Guenevere
Brought together by a dream
And separated by a fear
Or benedick and Beatrice
Who hated upon first sight
Whose wit and lively dreams
Later gave delight
Suppose you're the, Apollo;
Then Artemis, your twin, am I
Sun and Moon; Brother and Sister
The one and the other unite
Perhaps you are Sebastian
Twinned by Viola
Separated by a journey
Conjoined by faith and love
But if I am your lady
Then you must be my tramp
Who showed me life and love
And proved to be my champ
Maybe we are soul mate
Who grew too blose too fast
Living in the present
But seeing through the past
Dreaming of a future
That just may never last...
