I take the blame
Royal guard gone bad
The king is dead
And all because of me

A sheltered man
Lived inside stone walls
his country was his life
that's just the way it is

One day of freedom
That I granted him
his stone wall shattered,br> And life came pouring in

I let him out the nets,br> I let him out the chains
I held him close for comfort
I let him choose his reign

Joy of joys!
I saw my king laugh!
Sorrow defined
I saw my kind cry...

I take the blame
Royal guard gone bad
I killed the king
because I let him live
