11 General Orders
for Sea Stories. |

| |
A Sea Story must: |
| 1. |
Begin with the phrase, "this is a no shitter" or "this is a true adventure". |
| 2. |
Must be told in 3 minutes or less. |
| 3. |
No sleeping on the Listening Watch. |
| 4. |
Can not use more than one profanity in five consecutive words. |
| 5. |
No denigration of any service rates you are not qualified for, or
persons identified in a story by name. |
| 6. |
Only stories about Navy service time. |
| 7. |
No recycling of others stories. |
| 8. |
Speaker must use proper Navy Terminology. |
| 9. |
Speaker must be given full attention while speaking. |
| 10. |
Listeners must agree there are no major factual errors. |
| 11. |
If really a true story, time can be extended till finished. |
