I wrote this immediately after I finished Second Guessing. Three years have passed since the last story ended and not much important has happened. Kris went to college and Zac finally got old enough to have his driver's license, but otherwise things have been perfect.

The trilogy ends in Kris's point of view. It's Zac and Kris's third anniversary. Brian's gone, on restraining order. She hadn't seen Taylor since the break up but has talked to him. She's in college now in San Francisco. Her roommate, Michelle, has a new boyfriend that she's dying for Kris to meet. Zac pops up for a surprise visit, and the three of them go to dinner. Who is Michelle's new boyfriend? Why Taylor, of course. Zac isn't happy, afraid of the feelings between Kris and Taylor that never had faded. Zac and Kris are best friends. They tell each other everything. He knows that Taylor still poses a threat. But bigger threats come along as the story progresses.
