Mr. Duquette is a native of Springfield, Massachusetts, and the lineal descendant of a French soldier who was at Mont Royal (Montreal), New France, in 1640. He graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a Bachelor of Letters in French Language and Literature in 1974, and has a Masters of Science degree in Government granted by Campbell University in North Carolina in 1984. He currently resides in Lorton, in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Mr. Duquette entered the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant in 1974, and spent the next 20 years in assignments and schools in the United States and Europe.

His theatrical experience started in high school and continued during his career in the Army. It has ranged from French classical and modern theater to Shakespeare as well as musical theater.

He as also interpreted several historic personages including Harry Truman in a 1987 self-written and produced production in Heidelberg, Germany, in connection with 200th anniversary of the writing of the Constitution. He has also portrayed the Marquis de La Fayette.
