Nonfiction books have recently come into their own in the world of children's literature and many educators have jumped on the bandwagon, using them frequently to enhance learning in all areas of the curriculum.
The following pages provide reviews of recent award winning nonfiction books for children and suggestions for using them across the curriculum.
These pages were developed as part of a project for a children's literature class, LS 6643, Nonfiction for Children, taught by Dr. Sylvia Vardell at Texas Woman's University.
