OverviewThe Group Theatre Too, LLC* produces quality entertainment that stimulates and supports an ensemble group of artists as well as the general public through productions, outreach, and educational Arts programs designed for a cross-generational clientele. The Group Theatre Too, LLC* hopes to encourage diversity and the exploration of the human experience through theatre-dance-music performances and arts education programs that will require youths and adults to be active participants and advocates for others; aware of their surroundings and their ability to mediate and effect change.GTT stages professional entertainment that touches on current social issues and reflects American generations. Through the celebration of artists and the art of entertainment, GTT hopes to communicate the fact that as many ways as we humans are different we share common bonds and can connect with everyone on some level bringing new understanding and compassion to our lives. OpportunityGroup Theatre Too is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All artists engaged by GTT are hired as Independent Contractors on a job by job basis.CASTING At present, Group Theatre Too operates under an AEA Code Agreement or Cabaret Agreement with Actor's Equity Association when producing in New York City. Group Theatre Too houses a permenant ensemble of resident artists and performers. Company members enjoy life-long membership to a theatre collective that is dedicated to the close criticism of its members' work. Each year only a handful of artists are accepted and participate in an environment where they can experiment with their craft and might not otherwise have the chance to create. In addition to performance, GTT is a place to concentrate on process and offers this setting for actors, playwrights, composers, lyricists, singers, choreographers, dancers, and directors to further develop their arts. As a theater producer you can choose from our diverse library of classics and new smash hit musicals, and when you are ready, rent scripts, scores and everything you need to prepare your production.
