Group Theatre Too is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All artists engaged by GTT are hired as Independent Contractors on a job by job basis.
CASTING
At present, Group Theatre Too operates under an AEA Code Agreement or Cabaret Agreement with Actor's Equity Association when producing in New York City.
Group Theatre Too houses a permenant ensemble of resident artists and performers. Company members enjoy life-long membership to a theatre collective that is dedicated to the close criticism of its members' work. Each year only a handful of artists are accepted and participate in an environment where they can experiment with their craft and might not otherwise have the chance to create. In addition to performance, GTT is a place to concentrate on process and offers this setting for actors, playwrights, composers, lyricists, singers, choreographers, dancers, and directors to further develop their arts.
Casting is done on a show-by-show basis. Periodically, GTT will job-in local non-union, non-member performers. Principal auditions are announced in the trades and online as are chorus calls for musical productions. Agent submissions are also accepted for principal roles. All auditions are held in New York City.
Auditions are also posted on this page as the information becomes available. All notices contain the name and address of the audition location, audition times, the roles available, what we are looking for, and requested audition material.
