CURRENT SEASON
October 15th, 16th & 17th at The Theater at St. Clements, NYC: COUNT TO TEN is an official selection of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. THE STORY: A tap-dancing writer's Broadway ambitions are thwarted because his new musical lacks a real love story. Forced to develop the show at a performing arts camp full of spoiled, rich, and (in some cases) neglected stars of tomorrow, he finds he can no longer tap-dance around his issues and succumbs to the true call of his heart. A cross-generational, dance-filled, upbeat musical everyone can "tap" into! Visit www.nymf.org/counttoten or www.counttotenthemusical.com".

AFTERMATH The fact is teenagers can make wise choices about drug and alcohol usage, dieting, sexual promiscuity, and other issues pertaining to respect for one's body. But what choices are they making? And why are they making them? Aftermath, from the pen of a 17 year old inner-city youth, sheds light on the lives of 7 young people as they face daily choices about substance abuse, promiscuity, diet, other social issues and the inevitable consequences of the choices they make. This Social Awareness Program features a live theatre production of the one-act play aftermath presented by The Group Theatre Too. Visit www.aftermath-show.com.

The Group Theatre Too, LLC hopes to encourage diversity and the exploration of the human experience through theatre-dance-music performances and arts education programs that will require youths and adults to be active participants and advocates for others; aware of their surroundings and their ability to mediate and effect change. Through the celebration of artists and the art of entertainment, GTT hopes to communicate the fact that as many ways as we humans are different we share common bonds and can connect with everyone on some level bringing new understanding and compassion to our lives.
