Some of Your Love

Just one question, have I for you
Onr samlee request do I now present
A single wish my heart holds so dear
My prayer is for just some of your love

I care not for the lure of esay money, nor of the pleasures of passing lust
For money corrupts, and a moment of passion leads to heartache and pain
I care not for whispers of sweet nothings and empty promises of love
For the lies destroy ones sanity, and corrode one's very soul

For although you took advantage of my loneliness, and used it to enslave me
By your cold, and  your darkness, you made me into a prisoner of my own shame
Even after you stole my happiness, and shattered my dreams, with you I stay
I've made my choice, it's because of love I stay, despite your lies and games

So, here I stand alone before you
Fully knowing that you could never change your ways
I look not for your roses, kisses or even any presents
I asking only for some of your love

I'm In True Love

Touched by emotions I never knew were real
I sit here in amasement of what I think and feel
At this moment, nothing is certain, everything seems surreal
Yet, to this fate I find myself happy to be sealed

You moved my world, gently shook it's tender foundations
You gave the moon and the stars, just to win my devotion
Like a guardian angel, you shaowed me new ways of thoughts, new notions
So, with total abandon, I drank for your sweet love's potion

From out of no-where a band started to play
As you grabbed my hand , we began to dance , and you carried me away
Leading me straight to Eden's door, and a much better day
I was left utterly speechless, I knew not what to say

As I lay in this sweet bed of roses, I swear I feel no thorns
My life has begun anew, I feel like I've been reborn
Music fills the air, I hear the drums, the flute, the saxs, and the horns
In your arms I feel protected, sheltered, comfortable and warm

I have been touched by emotions that are so strong and so real
I still sit in amasement of all that I think and feel
Where do I sign, I'm in, this seems like the perfect deal
So, come what may to this fate I wwill gladly be forever sealed
