Follow The Leader

Follow the leader
Just be part of the crowd
Never wavering and always living in fear
Ever cowering, never standing strong and proud

Live by the letter and die by the code
Forget having any sense of self or indiviuality
Stay in line, and keep your eyes on the road
But, if you do look around, then tell me what you see

For you each day begins and ends the same
As you work like a slave for the man, just so you can survive
Without thought to your own hopes and dreams, you play the game
Speaking the words of your double-talkin jive

Today could be the day that you make it all so different
You could take a chance, start to make a change
If you think you've done you're part, done the time, and paid your rent
Than it's time you moved on to better days

Or you
Could just

Follow the leader
Be just another face in the crowd
You could never waver, and always live in fear
Ever alone, ever cowering, never knowing how to stand

Why can't you just be strong and proud

Never Happen Again

You'v
e been calling me, sayin that your buggin out
Emailing me and stalking me, why can't you just get a life
Can't you see it's over, I don't care about you anymore
Just leave me be cuz it's time to move on

My heart made a choice that in time I learned to regret
But, now that you're gone, my heart has begun to sing once again
I've felt the sting of your temper, the coldness of your heart
Yet,I've grown stronger, I'm wiser, and it will never happen again

You might really want to change
But baby it's much too little, and much too late
Maybe things would have been better, may have been different
But that's not a chance I'm willing to take

I have come into my power, it's time for me to rise above
You only served to hold and bring me down
Our season love has become a cold and ruthless winter
So, I'm spreading my wing, flying south, and I can finally see the sun

So, stop callin' me, I don't care if you're buggin out
I don't want no more of your emails, quit following me, just get yourself a life
Cuz' baby, it's totally over and I no longer care about you
So, just leave me alone,  it's time for you to move on
