The Vow

Come here and lay your burdens down before me
I will lift you up, and help carry your wieght
Shed your tears here upon my shoulder
As I tarry here with you, sharing completely in your fate

Whisper your secrets and desires here into my ears
Open the door of your heart, bare to me your soul
Place your trust in me, for I will ever keep it
For our friendship completes us, it makes and keeps whole

Fellowship with me, eat here at my table
Enter in and freely partake of my bread, water, and wine
Fear not to ask for help when you are unable
As I am there for you, may you ever be there for me

Sleep in peace and comfort, for my roof here is stable
Use my pillow and my bed, rest here until you are well
Come to me when your body and your spirit feels old and feeble
For with you I will ever share my strength until the end of time

Place these words into your heart, for this my vow of friendship
Forever our lives have become interwined
May these words serve as our deed of kinship
A covenant betwwen us, the future, and the Divine

Shared With You

Touch me,  my body lies here exposed just for you
I am naked, waiting, needing your tender affection
Am I beautiful, do I bring pleasure to your eyes
Do you burn deep inside for me with an unbridled passion

Explore the thoughts of my mind, search every inch of my heart
As I lay down here before, look down into my very core
Can you see and feel the love that I have hidden here inside, just for you
Do you still have questions as to why you remain as my pride and joy

Travel here with me, share in life's journeys
Partake of my tears, my joys, my triumphs and my defeats
Be enriched by both my weakeness and my strength
Hold me when I am old and weary, and rejoice with me while I am well

Make no vow here in vain, nor speak of gossip or tell me of false tales
When you rest here in my arms, speak only of what is sure and true
I do not seek after fame, nor of things that bear momentary value
But only of a life that is shared with you
