| The Angels The gate now stands there before us Guarded by the angels as they watch us with unhiddden envy and wonder For they were created for our guidance, comfort, and protection They fail to possess our gift of free will Man, they say was created in the image of God Seems bent on his own destruction, regardless of the earths' cost Remember, it was our rebellious nature that cost us Eden Our need for bloodshed that caused the Messiah to hang upon a cross War is more about the love of money, then about our freedom The rich stay safe, and get fatter as our loved one are sacrificed and left to die Thinly guised hatred, and propaganda that are nothing but lies Falsely claiming it is for glory, honor and freedom that in the grave we lie Every city, every town, and every country in this world Is guilty of and stained by all this needless bloodshed and death If it is here upon our soil it bears the name of terrorism and crime Yet, upon another's shore, we are called courageous, and heros As we are watched and envied by those angels I wonder if they ever break down and just cry And for a time give thanks for thier eternal status When faced with our heinous crimes, the darkness of our hearts date: Thursday, November 18, 2004 by: D. | Still By Your Side We've been through it all togther With you by my side, I know that I'll survive For, although we constantly fight, you remain my joy, and my prde My love, with you I will stay forever and ever You may have in the past hurt my very soul Still, I find that your love has made me complete, made me whole And with such an ease, and tenderness, it was my heart that you stole So, that in time my life was no longer a dark, empty, void-like hole Wherever it is that you may go, that is where I will follow For you have opened my eyes, and taught me how to see To my very essence, my total being, you hold the only key I am no longer a prisoner for your love has set me free Even when I am gone, and in the grave I quietly lie Know that my spirit and my love for you will never die So, my love try not to sit alone and mourn, and try not to cry It was the pressure, from thier side and mine that caused your early death So, here dear father, I stand alone amoung the gravestones Staring at the one that bears your name And although at one time we seemed to but total strangers For baby, my love, I am right here, I am still by your side date: Thursday, November 18, 2004 by: D.
