Anyone out there like chocolate? peanut butter? PIZZA? then try this! *grin* I brought this to a 4th of July get together last year, and they licked the pizza pan CLEAN......

Chocolate/Peanut Butter Cookie Pizza

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup butter softened (no substitutes)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
12 oz pkg chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter 1 cup Heath bars, coarsely chopped..
( I used 4 candy bars, and didnt bother
to measure them... I think that was plenty)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 12 - 14 inch pizza pan.
Combine flour, salt, soda and set aside. Combine butter, and the sugars, and cream together. Beat in the egg, vanilla, and add the flour mixture.. Stir in 1/2 of the package chocolate chips..
Spread the cookie dough on the pizza pan to within 1 inch of the edge. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-24 minutes OR until lightly browned. Remove from oven, and immediately sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top. Drop peanut butter randomly on top of the cookie also... The two will melt... after about 5 minutes, when the chocolate and the peanut butter are soft, spread over the cookie crust..like frosting. Sprinkle with the chopped candy bars..
EAT!

The following recipe was sent in by my niece, Megan....Both Megan and her mom are wonderful cooks, and have a wonderful supply of yummy recipes...I always look forward to family gatherings just to see what "new goodie" they bring....
This is a super easy (but delicious) cookie recipe that even the youngest "chef" can help prepare....

Lemon Bites

1 pkg. lemon flavored cake mix
1 egg
4 oz. of Cool-Whip
1/2 cup sifted confections sugar

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine cake mix, egg, cool whip. It will be VERY STIFF. Measure out teaspoon sized portions of dough and form into balls. Roll each "ball" in the powdered sugar. Place 2" apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or untill light brown on bottom. Cool on wire rack.
