This web page is an open book. Here I share my thoughts and feelings in form of words. Words give an expression to what is in our hearts. As a fugitive from this world of calamity and fear, of wars and self-righteousness, I hide in the healing womb of the word - that mystical object used to infuse hope and desperation in the hearts of many... I am a human being. I perceive myself as a member of a larger family than my own. The family of those who dream. The family of those who laugh. The family of those who cry. The family of those who love. I don't believe life is a perfect picture in black and white. Life has many colours. Life has many sounds and silhouettes. Life has many different faces. And I am one of those faces.
A Brief Self-Introduction
I could have written many things to introduce myself,
but words aren't enough to describe a single life.
Dreams are what I'm made of,
not only dreams I have when I'm asleep -
but also those dreams that move me ahead.
Last night I had one of those dreams:
I was a stranger in an empty space
searching for the answers I always wanted to find.
The sky was blue like the sky of South Florida,
and the smile I saw on the mirror was targeted at me.
I don't know things as well as I wished.
All the things I ever wanted to know are far away from me.
That little den in time,
where I'm a little boy hiding from reality,
does not exist anymore.
I told myself many lies.
But I have no time for lies any more.
I noticed the world has been turning
while I've been stuck here writing lines
no one understands.
I miss the time I believed without question.
But that was a long time ago.
I'm an unbeliever now.
Nothing is unquestionable in a world
made of broken dreams like the ones I have.
