Based on the War Diary, I have placed the Crossing the Line ceremony on 4 October 1944. The coordinates 153º 51' E 00º 4' S are the closest I can come to accuracy.

Back before the Shellback initiation was watered down due to "political correctness". These gents didn't worry about whether they were hurting ANYONE's feelings.
