Objective 1: Awareness of Poetry Formats
Students become familiar with various forms of poetry, including limerick, haiku, pantoum, sonnet
Objective 2: Expression of Tone through Images and Color
Students express tone through use of watercolors and crayon (ART INTEGRATION)
Objective 3: Use of Poetry Formats
Students utilize at least two of the poetry formats that have been shared to create their own poetry
Objective 4: Public speaking and listening
Students recite their poem and listen to their classmates' recitations
