Poetry: Personal Poems with Tone Art and Write-ups
POETRY BOOK and PRESENTATION DATES: Grades 5/6/7 May 1st; Grade 8 May 2nd

Personal Poem with Tone Art and Write Up #2 Due: Grades 5/6/7 April 27th; Grade 7 April 28th
Personal Poem with Tone Art and Write Up #3 Due: Grades 5/6/7 May 1st; Grade 8 May 2nd
Directions:
You will write three (3) personal poems, including tone art and write-ups for each poem. At least two of the poems must use formats identified in your poetry dictionary. Your third poem may be in any format. For bonus points, you may include extra personal poems; you may also include poems that are written by others that go with your theme; if you have more ideas for bonus points, speak with me!
Guidelines:
(1) Each of the poems should be tied together with a theme of your choice.
(2) At least two of your poems should be formats identified in your poetry dictionary (you may add more formats to your poetry dictionary at this time).
(3) Each of the poems should have a tone art piece and write-up to accompany it.
Scoring for Personal Poems (each area below worth three (3) points):
(1) Poem is written and relates to theme.
(2) Poem has accompanying tone art piece that includes all aspects of a tone art piece.
(3) Tone art piece has accompanying tone art write-up that includes all aspects of a write-up
(4) GMP
Scoring for Poetry Book (each numbered line below worth one (1) point, scored for content & GMP):
