| I believe your company could benefit from a sponsorship within orienteering. Orienteering is gaining in popularity within Australia and even greater opportunities exist overseas. The World Orienteering Championships this year are being held in Finland. Further, Orienteering will appear in the World Games for the first time this year in Japan, the stepping stone for the Olympic Games. |
| The advertising opportunities within Australia are also great. The Australian Three Days at Easter will attract over 3000 orienteers to the Daylesford area for the carnival, not including spectators, or the people the event will touch. Next year, even greater opportunities exist when the World Masters Games incorporates Orienteering into its schedule. The event will attract thousands of overseas competitiors as well as the masses from all over Australia. And it works, why else would Ericsson sponsor the Park World Tour in Orienteering, which travels all over the globe each year. |
