| The High Performance Advisory Group (HPAG) came into being in 2001 with the purpose of providing expert assistance to the development of Australia's Orienteering talent. |

| Function |
| A group of Sports Science and Sports Medicine specialits combined with coaches who support the National Squad coaching programs in a practical way. The members of the HPAG interact directly with althletes and coaches. They attend - as far as practical - national training camps and relevant competitions. the members of the HPAG act as consultants to WOC and JWOC teams, utilising the power of Information Technology if they are unable to be present at those competitions. |
