| SITE NEWS FOR Nineteenth of March 2004 Series 2 Episode 3 Changes Series 2 Episode 3 may be changing again. Well, the start of it at least. Instead of waiting 4 pages for the actual plot to begin, we now are starting at the location. So, the start gets to be used somewhere else... but where? I think August may be a realistic time to see Series 2 appearing publically. Series 1 ALL EPISODES UP Wow! Series One is complete. I've put a lot of work in this today, and since I can't do anything with Series 2 until it is released, I think it's time to make this place public... so here we go... Series 1 OLD EPISODES SECTION is UP The website is coming along... BRILLIANTLY. The OLD EPISODES section is up for you delights and in a quest for a completely comprehensive site, the CRITICAL ACCLAIM section is also there for you. Now the outsider may see a link between the people that ARE actually in the Soap to their critical response... but that doesn't explain Azlar now does it!? Series 2 Episode 3 Well, it's coming along slowly but surely. The plot is there and there is another interesting opening to the episode. However, things may seriously change. I think Episode 3 is a bit too early to get into another plot so soon... so Episode 1 and 2 may end up being Episodes 2 and 3! Amazing stuff this writing business. So what's happening in Episode 3? Well not much that I should tell you, apart from everything is acting a bit differently and Rad's psychology course is finally put to use. Now what would happen if there was another new episode at the beginning of series? Well, it will utilise the opening scene of 'The Halls of Experience' (A cancelled episode that can be seen at Vault 0 - Vault 52's forums, but since I don't want you to see it, I won't link you) where Phil puts in an Anti-Femenist program into Rad and Azlar's VR Goggles. That's enough spoilers for one day I think. Series 2 Episode 2 COMPLETE Ah... the critics (well critic at the moment, the other dude has kept silent so far...) have loved everything EXCEPT THE ENDING. The critic who has spoken so far has said the following. Critic 2: "I'm annoyed at the ending. The jokes are spot on though. :) In seriousness though, good work. I did like the last one better, but hey, if everything makes sense I can't complain." Series 2 Episode 1 COMPLETE And according to the people I've shown it to so far, it's the best one yet. It takes the premise of Not the Cleaning Type and turns it on it's head. New ideas are presented in it, brilliant jokes and there is a rather involving ending. Following here is the 'Critical Acclaim' for the episode, as given by the private audience. Warning however: this critical acclaim feature is COMPLETELY UNADULTERATED from it's original form - consider yourself warned. To be honest, not omitting some of the stuff is just to confuse you. Critic 1: "Well I think it was well written, and funny. There were some things that confused me though. The part about eating breakfast. Was this part supposed to go with what was said about the time Phil was eaten his slippers? I don't know, it just didn't make any sense to me, because it was a completely new paragraph and it was about a breakfast and a fiance eating a chimp's head." After I explained it to him however... "Ah, I understand now. Other than that, I think it was very well written." Well I think it's funny what you must be thinking. But despite what seems rather surreal, the plot is quite conventional while remaining innovative enough. This can be proven by the following bit of acclaim. Critic 2: "Indeed. Good work Rad." And when asked if this was his favourite episode... "All you can eat! All you can eat! Erm, I mean, I did like this one better." Well there you have it - the best episode yet - and this critic has read at least Episode >V onwards. Series 2 Episode 1 Nearly Complete Yeah - and it's good stuff in my book. Though it is my book. Series 2 Great Rethink II Complete The Second Great Rethink has been completed. Now a new storyline has been made up until Episode 6 - where everyone is in a prison! Hmm... Series 2 Episode 4 - GOOD FEEDBACK The fourth episode of the Soap Series 2 got great feedback I am glad to say - this is both heartening and disheartening at the same time. Heartening because it shows the humour is on the right track. Disheartening because since the episode has NO links whatsoever to the other episode's storyline, shows that Series 2 might have been better as episodes with seperate storylines. Series 2 Rethink... AGAIN! Yeah... I'm rethinking the Soap again. It isn't that I'm a perfectionist - which I am - but because some of the time travel theory was nonsense. As it should be maybe for the Soap, but a certain amount of logic and real-world was what I was aiming for. The Series 2 PILOT (Episode One) is still in the V52 Lounge if you want to see it. The actual time travel machine is not the problem. The problem is that Rad destroyed a time machine that can never be destroyed for him to be able to blow it up in the first place. So, forget it. Episode One will be divided into two Episodes now. One with a lot of added content which takes place completely in Vault 52 - the other, almost completely in the year 42242 AD. As such I think you'd be better not confusing yourself by reading the PILOT. |
