From the table and chart, it is depicted that the workers in manufacturing
industry were mainly concentrating in 3 districts. They are Kwun Tong, Kwai
Tsing and Tusen Wan. There were over 25, 000 persons being employed in
manufacturing industry. It can be explained by the history of manufacturing
industry in these districts. During the end of 70s and 80s, these 3 districts
were developed to be manufacturing industry's centre. This is still the fact
nowadays. Therefore, there should be a lot of skilled labour. Besides, the
facilities related to this industry, certainly, have been well- developed in
these districts. Owing to these favorite criterias, the manufacturing business
will still stay in there.
