Mexican Wave: In the stadium for the early heats of the Track & Field, the crowd was entertained between bouts of athletic exertion by the choreographed set-up & clear-away routines of the colourfully-clad volunteers . Getting in the mood, the massed spectators would join in with counterpointed patriotic chants from groups from different countries (“Aussie, Aussie, Ozzie! Oi! Oi! Oi!”; USA! USA! USA!, und zo weiter.). And of course, the famous Mexican Wave, seen here approaching a dubious Chris. To join or not?
