Database Development
 by Rey Adel

We are making a list of things you want to be included in the database. A lot of suggestions have been sent to us, such as a list of e-mail addresses, anniversary dates, birth dates of our children, among other things.

Unfortunately, only a few have sent out feedback about the profile. Three to be exact: Pons, Aldo, and BobotT. This web site, have been planned to at least make a semblance of an interconnected batchmate.

We are begging everybody to give the database a chance so as we could truly make it a database of some utility and not some lame excuse of personal collection.

  Plans

In the BatchMate Tools [Forms] section, we have enumerated the reasons and justifications for the database. 1) E-mail address will not be published unless you want to. 2) Supplying your birth date and anniversary date would entitle you with a overflowing greetings. We could even send you a bottle of champagne for your anniversary, that is if we don't forget! 3) Although we know some of these details, some of us are too forgetful to recall them when the need arises.

  Eleven Survey

Out of the total 44 original EMT 11, we found out that:

22 remained at NSC, all are married. Only one was not present during the 10th!

22 are either overseas-based or home-bound. Two are missing-in-action.

The average number of kids per EMT is two. Some are more productive than others.

Lesson: It is better to plan a week before than not plan at all!
