Where is Joey?
 by Rey Adel

One, two, three . . . we counted up to 21 only. One was missing and it took a while before we realized who was absent. Joey!

Rumors have it that Joey intentionally prevented himself from attending the said festivities because he was not officially and formally invited to grace the event.

In this age of computerization, a minor glitch became a major blunder. The planners of the 10th, newly converted users of Microsoft Mail due to necessity, were not obvilious to the fact that some batchmates were not among the list of recipients of the first-ever MSMail sent to invite inputs about the impending activity.

  11 is 10

Anyway, by way of this page, we, the culprits of the omission, are asking great forgiveness. We, however, suspect that the real reason Joey was absent was that he have had committed to some personal matters or social function scheduled prior to the finalization of the plans for 10th.

Incidentally, we still could not find you, Joey, among the Global Address List of the Microsoft Mail. The only Perez listed is one who goes with the name, MS Perez.

  Eleven Survey

Out of the total 44 original EMT 11, we found out that:

22 remained at NSC, all are married. Only one was not present during the 10th!

22 are either overseas-based or home-bound. Two are missing-in-action.

The average number of kids per EMT is two. Some are more productive than others.

Lesson: It is better to plan a week before than not plan at all!
