The Ten Years of Eleven

Jessie, the Programme Manager, opened the 10th with a prayer led by Jong. Aying conducted completeness check of each batchmate and their respective families. Pons completed the count to 21.
Art recounted the Decade:
1989 - EMT's last batch. Classroom Instructions. Passed Board Exams. 1990 - We're still sleeping on Classroom Instructions. Cristine and Helen joined the batch. 1991 - OJT on various lines. Graduation and Aftermath. Tonette married Mario. 1992 - Supervisors and Staff Engineers. Cristine and Bampi, Aying and Goddess got married. 1993 - Dion and Tess, Ferdie and Agnes tied the knot. 1994 - 5th at RPC. Boogie, Felix, Tonette, Alona opted for retrenchment.
11 is 10

1995 - Lynette disappeared. Bing flew. Helen married, too. Vincent and Rose, too. 1996 - Cris and Bampi flew to Canada. Helen resigned. 1997 - Bert to saintly life. Jinggot, the last eligible, got married. 1998 - Then . . . 22 were left.
Reynan explained the meaning of the Special-edition 10th T-shirts designs. Jinggot narrated the way to get hitched! The kids had parlor games then picture-taking began.
And the guys, no the little men, ended the activity with spree, beer-busting and songs.

Eleven Survey

Out of the total 44 original EMT 11, we found out that:

22 remained at NSC, all are married. Only one was not present during the 10th!

22 are either overseas-based or home-bound. Two are missing-in-action.

The average number of kids per EMT is two. Some are more productive than others.

Lesson: It is better to plan a week before than not plan at all!
