The church is our familyThe church that we attend is also our family here in Australia. This is where we go every Sunday to be encouraged in our lives as Christians and where we encourage others. We have been going there together since July 1999.For information on service times and church contact detail, please visit at Creek Road Presbyterian on the web ^ Top Prayer MeetingIt is a very precious gift from God to be able to pray to Him. As church members it is wonderful to come to God together to bring all our needs to Him. We bring personal needs to Him, as well as the different needs and activities in our congregation and the church as a whole. We also pray for world events.Each week Anne prints out specific prayer requests from the church and a volunteer reads a passage from the Bible and talks about what it teaches them. After we pray and sing we have supper together. Over the almost one and a half years that we have been meeting like this, we have seen God answering our prayers in wonderful ways. People get jobs, accommodation, get out of hospital in good health, healthy babies are born, people have safe travels and we see God's blessing in the different church activities. We also enjoy praising God together (we talk and sing about how wonderful He is). About how He creates EVERYTHING, how He has been involved with his people since the first people and how He sent Jesus, in Whom we are saved and can have eternal life. If you are around and want to see God working your life,in Creek Road Presbyterian and in the world, then please join us in prayer. Prayer Meeting Details: The Fairfield FolksWe have just finished studying 'Christianity Explained', which is a 6-lesson course on the basics of Christianity. At the moment we are doing a study on 'Friendship'. People attending are: Joanthan Jasch, Tommy, and Tony Behan, with Malcolm leading the studies. Others are more than welcome.Meeting Details: |
