Duncan is a mechanic for a safari company and has traveled in Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the Middle East. This year he plans to travel through Africa from the southern tip all the way back to the UK. He also enjoys deep water diving and working on the farm. Of all things Roy enjoys sport most. He is one of the few people who can run a marathon in just more that 3 hours! He studied engineering and in the last year has been the manager of a sport club in Lauder, south of Edinburgh. Roy enjoys running, cycling, plays golf and is a deep water diver. He has done a lot of travelling in Europe (on his bike), in Australia and visited Duncan in the Middle East last year. They dived in the Dead Sea together. He also went to Tenerife last year. Petra teaches Maths to the matriculants at Hartbeespoort High this year. She studied music and helps with the local children's choir and sings in a small choir herself. Petra also plays the piano and the organ. The other day she swam a mile in the Midmar Dam in 39 min. In 1998 Justin, one of our good friends from uni, recorded Petra and Karin, another good friend. Surita studies Speech Therapy and Audiology at the Univ. of Pretoria. She shares a flat with Adele in Hatfield. She is also the leader deaconness at the University Church and at the moment is doing a course in 'her purpose in the creation' at a church in Pretoria. Surita also swam the mile in the Midmar Dam with 14 000 other people in 38 min. She is thinking of doing triathlons later in 2001. You can contact her per e-mail: Surita le Roux

Danie finished his degree in Electronic Engineering at the end of last year and then left for Holland. There he worked at a university for three months and is in England at the moment. Danie and his friend, Wynand, plan to tour back to South Africa through Africa later this year. They hope to visit missionaries on their way to encourage them and to see some of God's work in Africa. Both of them have hearts for the people in Africa. Danie also enjoys running and in 1999 he finished the famous Comrades Marathon (89.6km). You can contact him per e-mail: Danie le Roux
