Ordered to do so no more on penalty of �2. arket William Mann was paid 3s 8d 'for 1 day for myself, a man and a prentis'. He was also paid in 1735 for making a stone chimney, a sack of lime, labour at the dining room, and wheeling wool bales (willing wul bal out of the Corte).

Bigland recorded Headstone in the churchyard, Thomas Mann died 15 Jany 1789 aged 67 Mary, his Wife, died 9 Jany 1776 aged 35. Why the discrepencies in the Memorial? Registry records show The first wife of Thomas, Elizabeth Grant, was buried 17460701 aged 28 Mary, wife of Thomas Man buried by the parish, Jan 17, 1789. Thomas Man was buried June 4, 1790. The first burials in Jan 1776 are of Lissey, D of William Baily Jan 2, and of Christopher, base son of Lydia Parker Jan 11.
